So guys, in case you don’t know, I live in the Pacific Northwest and in Seattle right now there is an exhibition going on featuring costumes, props, and set pieces from all eight Harry Potter movies. 

My birthday was a few weeks ago and my amazing boyfriend and family had planned out a way to take me. We went and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I bought the exhibition book and I’ll scan in the pages soon!  

I also got some other really cool gear…a keychain and a magnet and some other interesting stuff. I was outraged to see that they didn’t have any Ravenclaw gear…they obviously had Gryffindor and Slytherin and even HUFFLEPUFF (not that Hufflepuff isn’t awesome, just that, um, no one bought any of their stuff and so there were piles of it everywhere) but the lady at the register told me when I confronted her that they had an argument with the vendor in Canada because they’re about to update the merch and didn’t want to send out the rest of the old type…or something ridiculous like that. 

Anyway, if you get the chance to go, you definitely ought to. We had a blast and we might even go again if we can. Also right there in the Seattle Center is the Sci Fi Museum which is doing a Battlestar Galactica exhibition…score! It’s running until 2012 so we’ve got plenty of time to get to that. :P
